Residents of Moreton-In-Marsh finally have the opportunity to directly influence how our historic market town develops.
This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for our community to have a real say in planning decisions and we encourage every resident who cares about Moreton’s future to get involved.
Every household in Moreton-in-Marsh has been sent a summary copy of the Neighbourhood Plan (via royal mail). FULL copies of the detailed plan are also available for public viewing at three convenient locations:
- Moreton-in-Marsh Town Council Offices (Old Town)
- Cotswold District Council Area Centre (High Street)
- Moreton Library

The consultation, runs until Sunday 12th October 2025, so you still have time to register your opinions.
What happens next?
Following the consultation period, the Working Group will carefully review every comment received from residents, making amendments to the plan where appropriate.
The revised document will then undergo independent examination by a qualified planning professional before being put to residents in a referendum.
